About Jerry Angelo
My passion is equipping couples with the tools for building emotionally intelligent marriages that lead to strong families and relationships, and cultivating leaders so that they can discover their true identity in Christ through vision and purpose.
I’m Rev. Jerry Angelo from Southwest Missouri. I’m the Founder, President, and CEO of Vanguard Marriage and Family Advocates that serves the ministry of Marriage Minute and The Prayer Initiative.
I work with several businesses, community leaders, and faith-based organizations including our friends at Marriage Initiative, National Marriage Week, National Day of Prayer, American Family Association, Family Research Council, Focus on the Family, and I’m also an affiliate with FamilyLife as well. Through our Community Marriage Initiative, my wife Kate and I are dedicated to creating a movement that impacts the culture to honor, inspire, and empower marriages and families in the community through teaching, training, coaching, and events.
I regularly speak at various local and national venues. I have also spoken on multiple podcasts and local media as well as national TV & radio broadcast programming including Bott Radio Network, American Family Radio, and also featured on Focus on the Family as well as the FamilyLife Today Christian radio broadcast.
I’m also an author with multiple books projects including Forsaken, and I’m a credentialed minister with the General Council of the Assemblies of God. My wife and I have five wonderful children, and enjoy spending time boating on Table Rock Lake.
